At an altitude of just under 1,950 meters, it stays pleasantly cool here even in the height of summer, while temperatures rise in the valley. Crisp mountain air, shaded hiking trails leading to lakes and alpine pastures, and balmy evenings on the sun terrace invite you to stay for a few days instead of just stopping by for a day trip—the perfect getaway from the heat.

- High-alpine summit tours on 3,000-meter peaks—with a mountain guide upon request
- Via Ferrata: The Panorama Via Ferrata (moderate to difficult) is directly accessible; equipment can be rented at the 3-Seen-Bahn valley station.
From late June through July, the blooming alpine roses also transform the slopes around the hut into a colorful natural spectacle.

Especially in midsummer, when it gets hot in the valley, it stays pleasantly cool up here—perfect for anyone looking to escape the hustle and bustle.
