Kühtai is a popular holiday destination in the summer for young and old.
Whether on a summit tour on one of the surrounding 3000-metre mountains, via ferrata, hut-to-hut trekking tour or
a trip to one of the many mountain lakes. Climbers, mountain bikers, hikers, and Nordic walkers,
as well as families with children, will get their money’s worth here.

and demanding mountain tours. For your alpine tours on one
of our 3000-metre mountains, we would be happy
to organise a mountain guide to accompany you.
You will find a wide variety of day tours around
the alpine pastures. You can also go on hut-to-hut
hikes, e.g. the Sellrainer Hüttenrunde, but of course
there are also short, family-friendly hikes in the valley.
There is something for every climbing enthusiast.

Via ferrata
Panoramic via ferrata
A moderate to difficult via ferrata for mountain hikers with via ferrata –
experience or with tour by a mountain guide. The climb, which was
designed with a lot of work and effort, allows you to walk on the rock
faces and ridges. Without fixed ropes and brackets these routes present
a high difficulty level and so would normally be reserved for extreme climbers.
Sure-footedness, a head for heights, and via ferrata equipment are basic requirements.
Equipment can be rented from the Drei-Seen-Bahn station.

Why not spend a relaxing day with your children at the Dortmunder Hütte.
A relaxing summer terrace invites you to dwell awhile.
Another highlight are our new family rooms with toilet and shower, which offer you and your family plenty of space to relax.

· Be amazed by the Stuibenfall waterfall in Ötztal – just 40 minutes away by car!
· Not for the feint-hearted. Austria’s highest high rope course in Area 47 is only 30 minutes away by car.
· The Aqua Dome in Längenfeld invites you to relax or enjoy bathing for the whole family.
· Visit Ötzi-Dorf – a highlight for young and old.
· Are you a real sports freak? The high altitude performance centre with football pitch is very close by.
